Project Connect has been held in Chapel Hill, NC since 2007. At each event, planners strive to collect accurate data that will show the impact the event has on individuals lives and our community.

2008 Outcomes for Project Homeless Connect - Orange County:

300 volunteers participated

50 agencies provided services

Over 70 businesses, faith communities, and others donated food, money, personal care products, and clothes

Over 400 lunches of soup, sandwiches, fruit, snacks, and desserts were served

Virtually all guests received gift bags of personal care products, underwear, socks, and other items

37 haircuts

Health Care and Social Services & Benefits served over 150 guests each

Housing and Employment served over 100 guests each

Dental, Behavioral Health Care, and Legal Services served in the vicinity of 50 guests each

10 guests registered to vote
